The Get Win 10 app tell me that my Broadcom Virtual Wireless Adapter will no support Windows 10 and I may not be able to connect to the internet and I need to upgrade the driver.

I have tried to just upgrade and see how it went but I was having no luck getting the internet to work unfortunately. I have also checked on the Asus website as well as the Broadcom website for possible driver updates but could not find anything compatible with Windows I had this issue also with my Get Windows 10 app.
The driver is for a virtual device, which means it does not really exist in physical form. I assumed it was for a peer networking app that came with my computer Dell and that I never used.
So I disabled the device in Device Manager to see if my actual real physical wireless adapter would still work, it did. So I left the virtual adapter disabled. I now have Windows 10 installed and have wireless networking. Windows 10 did not complain at all during the upgrade. The virtual adapter now shows as an unknown device in Windows 10 Device Manager.

Hi friends. I'm having this problem and it is very irritating. I've uninstalled the Broadcom months ago and have been using Atheros instead. I have internet access but it is still displaying this message even though Broadcom is nowhere to be seen on my laptop, already checked the device manager. Was this reply helpful? Let check Device Manager if there are any incompatible drivers. Find Network Adapter and expand it. See if you find the Broadcom listed, if yes, right click and Uninstall.
