Except as expressly provided herein, no license or right is granted to you directly or by implication, inducement, estoppel, or otherwise. Make sure you are not selecting an icon on your Desktop which is probably for the install utility, not the utility itself.
The support assist is a little different. You can only get it from the Support Assist download site. If you have not already, go to Programs and Features from the link on the Settings-App page.
Right click the Support Assist entry and uninstall. If that seems to work, reboot the system and then go to the Dell site and do a search for Support Assist.
